on saturday august 1st my family went to the state fair in sacramento. it was soooo fun! we saw all the exhibits from the different counties in california, and i'm sorry to say that the san diego county exhibit was the worst. very disappointing. but the boys posed as the calaveras county jumping frogs. then peter jon got to hold a baby pig, and a crayfish. he is more brave than his dad, who wouldn't hold the crayfish. so i had to catch it and give it to peter jon so he could hold it. we all had a great time eating fair food, and petting barn yard animals. it was well over 100 degrees, and peter scott and i just about melted.

Welcome to blogging, Lisa! This blog is too cute. We just got back into town last nite - and Caden immediately started asking for Peter Jon. Do you hate Davis yet? Is it time to come back? Ok, that's not fair, just selfish! Hope the move was good!

What a nice suprise! I am so glad that we have a way to keep in touch. I am right there with you when it comes to missing San Diego. Nothing compares.
