step by step!! (ooo baby!)

thats right, i went to the new kids concert in san jose! it was super fun, i can't remember when i ever danced or screamed so much. i didn't even care that our seats were so far away (honestly, we were in the stratusphere). the group looked great. the old songs were fun to hear again, and the new songs are scandalous!

SF Academy of Sciences

we went to the newly updated sf academy of sciences and were DISAPPOINTED!! we waited years and years while they renovated and remodeled and redid. and as it turns out, they took out over half of the exhibits, and the new ones are nothing to scream about. i LOVED the old academy of sciences. growing up in sf we went every couple of months, i had the entire place mapped out in my head. i loved all of the old exhibits, the planetarium, the ca. coast, the prehistoric forest, the room of ancient cultures, the gems, the list goes on and on. everything i loved is gone, and replacing it is a very small, sad immitation of a once grand sf landmark.

that's right, Brisinger by Christopher Paolini has been released!! yep, you guessed it, i was there at midnight to buy my copy (ohh, you know me so well!). i love reading it, it is soooo hard to stop and do stuff, like feed my children, or go to the bathroom. needless to say, my house isn't in the best shape right now. wait, what am i doing? why am i bloging when i could be reading? i've got to go!

serious stuff

ok, i have never posted a serious blog before, but i felt that this was much to important to overlook. for the first time in my life i took the time to look up Megans Law. i don't know why, but for the past few days i have just had a burning need to know if there are any Sex Offenders in my neighborhood. so, i took a few minutes and looked it up online and guess what? there are 4 living within a 1 mile radius of my house. luckily there are none on my street, not even with in 3 blocks of my house. now i know their names, addresses, seen pictures of them, and i know what crime they are convicted of. i don't feel the need to move, this is a really safe area of town, but i do feel like knowledge is power. please, take a minute, look up your address, and be in controll!!

yep, we've gotten a dog!! her name is delilah, she is a 2.5 yrs old beagle, we got her from the rescue organization california shelter friends. we love her sooo much!! she is kind and gentle with the kids, she doesn't bark, she isn't hyper, she doesn't chew on toys or my new furniture, and she came to us potty trained. i have to tell you, she is the perfect dog!!
