yep, that's right. my big man is crawling. daniel is only 6 months old, but he is crawling, and eating cherios, and throwing tantrums. i think he may be gifted, i mean, these are very advanced skills :)

playschool

today peter jon went to his first day of playschool. what is playschool? well, let me explain. it is not preschool, and it is not a playdate, it is somewhere in between. 3 moms from church and myself are taking turns haveing eachother's 3 year olds one week a month for 3 hrs a day (2 days per week). we have free play time, cirle time, snack time, and then more play time. it is pretty laid back, and peter jon is the only boy. it works out great because he doesn't have to share any cars or trains. if you can't tell, his shirt says "ladies man".

some memories are best served deep fried

on saturday august 1st my family went to the state fair in sacramento. it was soooo fun! we saw all the exhibits from the different counties in california, and i'm sorry to say that the san diego county exhibit was the worst. very disappointing. but the boys posed as the calaveras county jumping frogs. then peter jon got to hold a baby pig, and a crayfish. he is more brave than his dad, who wouldn't hold the crayfish. so i had to catch it and give it to peter jon so he could hold it. we all had a great time eating fair food, and petting barn yard animals. it was well over 100 degrees, and peter scott and i just about melted.
